The beds are super comfy and made for some great rest during our two-night stay. Tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch, making the atmosphere feel warm and inviting.
One issue was the small car park hidden down a narrow lane, which could confuse anyone unfamiliar with the area. The absence of breakfast options was a letdown, especially since other nearby places offered it. there was noticeable noise from the university on Friday night, which could disrupt light sleepers, though it quieted down for our second night.

Comfy beds and a pleasant atmosphere for wedding guests
We had a great stay for two nights while attending a wedding nearby. The beds were really comfy, and we appreciated the cozy atmosphere. Although there’s no breakfast offered, which was a bit of a letdown since other places had it, the reasonable prices made it work for us. Just a heads-up about the car park. it’s a bit tricky to find down a narrow lane. a nice experience!

We had an awesome time staying with friends. The beds were super comfy, and we enjoyed exploring local spots. Definitely check out the beautiful parks and nearby cafes. While there's no breakfast offered, the rooms are reasonably priced and worked well for our group.
One downside was the noise on Friday night due to the nearby university. It didn't bother us much since we returned late, but it's worth noting.

Staying at The Castle in September was a good choice for us. Comfy beds made for a restful night after a wedding nearby. The small car park in the back was tricky to find, nestled down a narrow lane. Quiet on the second night, but the Friday noise from the local university was noticeable. No breakfast is a downside, especially since other hotels offered it. Despite those issues, the reasonable pricing and cozy atmosphere made for an enjoyable stay.
